We helped defining and developing a digital sports business for the International Federation of Match Poker (IFMP), the global governing body of sports poker.
With the objective to promote poker and its legal Match Poker variant as a game of skill, we developed a comprehensive membership scheme including a variety of advanced tools and applications.
The poker engine was based on the basic idea of playing the best possible move compared to another player with identical cards—regardless of the strength of the hand itself. The game mechanics relied on a trained model that used the latest AI technology.
With more than 50 member nations IFMP has observer member status of the International Mind Sports Association and SportAccord, the general assembly of international sports federations.
